Paul died of accidental drowning in Long Point Bay.

Paul graduated from London Teachers' College in 1961. He taught for a short time at St. Frances Cabrini in Delhi ON and soon moved on to be principal of St. Michael's in Walsh ON. This is where he was employed when he fell from his boat and drowned in May of 1968. He was continuing studies at Waterloo Lutheran University at the time of his death. His daughter, Mary Jane is now teaching at Assumption College High School in Brantford and his son Jeff is a certified chef, married, living and working in Australia |
